Declaration of IndependenceIndependence Day honors the birthday of the United States of America and the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.

Overseas U.S. citizens, even those who may have been living elsewhere in the world for many years, celebrate the day at U.S. consulate or embassy parties, schools, interest clubs, or just privately with a picnic outdoors. It’s a day for remembering our Declaration of Independence and our democracy at home in the U.S.

Overseas Vote Foundation and Youth Vote Overseas wish all U.S. citizens a wonderful Fourth of July wherever you may be!
